Intro to offer in 48 hours: an Influencer & Affiliate Manager for Cuurt in 4 weeks

Our Result

In 4 weeks, we placed a partnerships lead who'd run a six-figure monthly collabs budget at a €50M+ sports brand. The offer went out 2 days after the first interview.

WEEK 1
Kickoff call, JD delivered the next day. “The job description is perfect!” and calibration list of 10 target profiles shared before outreach scaled up.
WEEK 2-3
First 4 candidates presented with screening summaries. Pivoted to Europe for seniority and launched a custom test task.
WEEK 4
Hire presented, interviewed and offered within 48 hours. Influencer & Affiliate Manager hired 🚀

The Starting Point

Cuurt is a young DTC footwear brand that started in barefoot shoes and pivoted to pickleball and tennis once demand was proven. The goal: get 30 to 40% of sales from influencers and affiliates.
The problems were clear. Meta mostly reached an older audience, creators had gone quiet, and no real influencer campaign had run yet. They'd tried junior hires before. It hadn't worked.
‍

Our Solution

We went after senior partnership builders with revenue on their CV, and designed a test around the exact problems Cuurt was facing.

Selling Points

  • A blank page. Build the whole program your way.
  • Direct line to the founders
  • A real budget shift away from Meta
  • A team to build, with performance bonuses on top
  • Vacation, travel and training allowances

‍

Requirements

  • Ran partnership programs for 8 to 9 figure DTC brands
  • Accountable for revenue, not just reach
  • Strong project management, able to lead 2 to 3 people
  • Bonus: worked alongside creative strategists or has copywriting experience

‍

Skills We Looked For

  • Strategic thinker, not a repetitive outreach machine (the founders' non-negotiable)
  • Creator retention and long-term relationship building
  • Whitelisting and paid creator content
  • TikTok Shop and affiliate program setup

‍

Our Winning Approach

Agreed on "senior" before we sourced at scale

"Senior" means something different to every founder. In week 1, we shared 10 real target profiles for the founders to react to. By the time outreach scaled, we were aiming at the same person.

A test built on Cuurt's real problems

No generic case study. Our test task asked for a First 90 Days Plan plus a Creator Retention System, aimed squarely at the quiet creators Cuurt was dealing with. The answers showed exactly who could fix it.

Key Insights That Helped Us Hire The Perfect Candidate

  • Junior hires can't build a channel from zero. Senior ones can.
  • A calibration list in week 1 saves weeks of misaligned outreach.
  • Same-niche experience is gold. The hire already knew how sports brands win with creators.
